Baked Bags Shipping Policy

Our products are shipped within 2-4 business days from the date of purchase. Orders are processed over the weekend, but not on major holidays. Please allow 4-10 business days for your order to arrive depending on the method you choose.

Some orders get processed and shipped within 1 hour of the order being placed. Once orders are processed, we can no longer cancel or update the orders.

Baked Bags ships to many parts of the US at a flat rate.

Choosing  “Rush Order” will ensure your product is shipped within 24 business hours (Monday-Friday).

Shipping Protection

Package Protection Claims: If you purchased package protection with your order and your package has been lost, stolen, or damaged during transit, please submit a claim through our support email. While you can submit a claim without the purchase of shipping protection, those that purchase protection will receive priority and a higher chance of receiving a replacement shipment. Each claim is evaluated on a case by case basis by our support team. 

What we deem as lost:

If tracking shows “Delivered” but you haven’t received it, we ask you to allow up to 5 working days, couriers sometimes mark parcels delivered early, deliver via neighbors, or leave in a secure place.

If tracking hasn’t updated for a set time (depending on courier) and you’re more than 50% past our normal delivery target from when we shipped, we may classify your parcel as “lost.”

In case of delays caused by courier network congestion, we may reserve the right to classify a shipment as “delayed” rather than “lost.”

Each case is reviewed by our team.  If your parcel is deemed lost, we’ll initiate an investigation and follow up with whether you’re eligible for a replacement or other action.

What we deem as damaged:

Packaging arrive damaged in transit (requires photo evidence)

Some of your order is missing due to the box/packet opening in transit (requires photo evidence)

Please contact us immediately if your items have arrived damaged or something is missing.  Must submit photographic evidence of tampered items.

What we do not cover:

Missing parcels or redelivery fees due to incorrect address information provided by you.

Delays in transit. 

Order marked as unfulfilled or unshipped. This may be due to inventory issues or dispatch delays.

If you requested items to be left outside your property and they go missing - this waives the right to any claim as per carrier terms and conditions.

How to submit your claim:

If your parcel is lost or damaged, please contact us on [email protected] from the email address you used to place your order. A member of our customer service team will assist you within 1 working day. What to include in your claim: 

  • Subject line: CLAIM for order #12345
  • Description of your issue
  • Photo evidence of damage

We will continue to track your parcel and should it appear, we request it be sent back to us at our expense.

By selecting shipping protection, you agree to these terms. 

We ask that you do not get in touch with use regarding a missing parcel until the allotted time has passed for it to be deemed as lost.

This is our in-house protection policy. Shipping protection is non refundable.

Our policy for unprotected parcels:

We will follow the claims policy with your selected courier to either locate your parcel or deem it as lost. This may take 1-2 weeks and is at the discretion of the courier.

If your parcel has a GPS location or photographic evidence that it has been delivered to your property, is with a neighbor or at a secure location, we are not responsible for a refund or replacement.

Our products are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. However, it is your responsibility to determine whether these products can be lawfully shipped to and possessed in your state or jurisdiction. We make no representations regarding the legality of these products at the state or local level and disclaim any liability arising from your purchase in a restricted area. We do not ship to Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Utah or Vermont.

We only ship some of our products per state guidelines to Texas, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas Michigan, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Washington, Arkansas, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, and New Hampshire. 

Shipping Protection Policy

We offer optional Shipping Protection at checkout to ensure your order is covered in the event of loss, theft, or damage during transit.

When Shipping Protection is selected, your package is eligible for replacement if it is:

  • Lost in transit
  • Stolen after confirmed delivery
  • Damaged during shipping

If your protected order experiences any of the above, please contact us within 7 days of the delivery date (or last tracking update) at [email protected] with your order number and any relevant photos or documentation. Once verified, we will promptly open a case to determine if eligible for a replacement shipment. If the delivery issue persists, and you are unable to receive USPS shipments to your locations, we will not reship at a separate time.

If Shipping Protection is not selected at checkout, we are NOT responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once they have been shipped and marked delivered by the carrier. We will NOT provide a refund or replacement. 

Please note:

  • Shipping Protection is non refundable once the order has shipped
  • Claims may require verification before approval
  • We reserve the right to deny claims that appear fraudulent or outside policy terms
